Militiamen in Chechnya detained three members of the organised criminal group who took part in committing a series of grave crimes against the Russian-speaking population in the republic. As the information department of the Russian Interior Ministry reported on Thursday, they were detained in April in Chechnya in the course of the search operations which were conducted by a group of the Russian Interior Ministry and members of the provisional interior departments of the Leninsky and Staropromyslovsky districts of Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. All the three are inhabitants of the Chechen Republic. As was pointed out in the Interior Ministry, as a result of the conducted measures and investigation actions, the detained have been exposed as taking part in killing six people in March and in robbing flats. An accomplice in these crimes has been established and included in a wanted list. Search measures for his detention are being carried out.
