Vladimir Gusinsky's Interrogation Postponed Until May 3

The prosecutor-general's office has postponed the interrogation of Media-Most head Vladimir Gusinsky, slated for today, until May, the media magnate's lawyer Yuri Bagrayev told RIA Novosti. In his words, this is due to Gusinsky's absentia. The lawyer recalled that his client had repeatedly stated that he did not intend to come to Russia. Bagrayev said that "Gusinsky did not make any official statements" in connection with his failure to appear in the prosecutor general's office. The lawyer said that on Friday Gusinsky's lawyers, just like several days ago, could not study the documents related to a new charge pressed against Gusinsky. In Bagrayev's words, investigation explained its refusal to submit the documents to the lawyers by the absence of Gusinsky himself. It was expected that on Friday the prosecutor general's office will bring a new charge against Gusinsky, i.e. money laundering.
