Prosecutor's Office Charges Chechen Warlord Raduyev

The Russian General Prosecutor's Office has charged Salman Raduyev, notorious leader of Chechen separatists, in accordance with the Criminal Code. Raduyev was an organizer of the raid on Kizlyar and Pervomaiskoye (Dagestan) on January 9, 1996. The North Caucasus Department of General Prosecutor's Office informed that Salman Raduyev is accused of terrorism, hostage taking, a grave murder, organization of an illegal armed unit and participation in its actions, armed robberies, and illegal purchase of arms. The investigation of the Raduyev case and his two accomplices Turpal Atgiriyev and Aslanbek Alkhazurov was finished in mid-April this year.
