Albanian extremists wounded Yugoslavian policeman in the South of Serbia

A policeman was wounded in the south of Serbia as a result of the shelling by Albanian extremists of the positions of Yugoslavian security forces. The shelling was carried out from mortars and recoilless rifles. The security forces had to open a retaliatory fire. The violation of armistice by Albanian extremists in the buffer security zone on the administrative border between Serbia and Kosovo are being observed every day. Militants are most aggressive in sector "B", the only territory where units of Yugoslavian army and police have not been introduced yet. It is precisely here that the main forces of the so-called liberation army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja have been concentrated. It is reported that terrorists prepare beforehand to counter the introduction of Yugoslavian security forces. In particular, a large concentration of the armed militants has been registered here. The sector's main roads are mined.
