Four Home-made Explosive Devices Destroyed In Chechnya Over The Past 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours the personnel of the Joint Group of Troops in Chechnya destroyed four home-made explosive devices, RIA Novosti was told in the Interior Ministry of Russia on Friday. Besides that, in the course of the operational activities the militiamen in the cities of Grozny and Argun and in several other populated areas have confiscated 7 submachine-guns, 2 grenade-launchers, 5 pistols, 14 shotguns and a sawn-off gun, 55 grenades and shots for grenade launchers, 5 artillery shells, 8 mortar shells, over 1,000 cartridges of different calibre and about 1 kilogramme of explosives. Furthermore, 10 illegal oil mini-refineries have been found and destroyed.
