Russian and Georgian MPs are expected to gather next week to discuss the situation around the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict, Speaker of the Russian State Duma, or the lower parliamentary house, Gennady Seleznyov said opening a Duma plenary session Wednesday. The Georgian parliamentary delegation will be led by Parliament Speaker Zurab Zhvaniya, according Seleznyov. Russian members of parliament are going to hold a number of meetings with their Georgian colleagues to be dominated by the developments in Abkhazia, self-proclaimed republic in Georgia's territory, and ways of settling the crisis, said Seleznyov.
