Tajikistan On Red Alert

The office of Tajikistan's Security Council announced on Monday that the country's power structures had been placed on high alert with security being stepped up at all the nation's essential facilities. Police presence on roads leading to the south of Tajikistan has been increased. The Security Council announced that additional measures had been taken in connection with the US strikes against terrorist bases in Afghanistan.
