The Akademik Golitsyn vessel is involved in the search of fragments of the Tu-154 plane that crashed into the Black Sea, according to officials in the Sochi administration. Two other vessels: the Spasatel Prokopchik and the Kapitan Beklemishchev and two motor boats are also engaged in the operation. The city administration press service said that Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushailo, head of the investigation commission, was expected to come to Sochi at noon. His meeting with Ukrainian officials has been scheduled. The Sibir Airlines' Tu-154M passenger plane flying on October 4 from Tel Aviv to Novosibirsk crashed into the Black Sea 180 km from Sochi leaving 78 people (66 passengers and 12 crew members) killed .
