Officers of the Joint Group of Forces in Chechnya destroyed 4 home-made explosive devices over the past twenty-four hours, the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti on Wednesday. Besides, the police in Grozny and another 7 settlements of the republic confiscated a grenade launcher, 3 sporting guns, 14 mines and projectiles, 6 cartridges for grenade launchers, 4 hand grenades and over 3,000 bullets. Thirty-four illegal mini-oil-refineries were destroyed. Interior officers ran 11 preventive operations exposing 314 administrative offences, including 54 passport regime violations, the Interior Ministry press service reported.
