Two Caches Found In Chechnya Over The Past 24 Hours

Two caches containing weapons were found in Chechnya by serviceman of the Joint Group of Forces over the past 24 hours, Russian Interior Ministry reported Thursday. One cache had been established in a mosque in the village of Chiri-Urt in the Shali district of Chechnya. It contained 11 grenade launchers, 1 machine-gun, 3 Kalashnikov submachine guns, 6 self-made explosive devices, 600 g of explosive agents, approximately 15,000 rounds and a radio station with a charging device. Besides, the cache also contained 15 sets of combat fatigues. The second cache located in the forest in the vicinity of the Veduchi village of Itum-Kala district, contained 125 kg of TNT, 63 detonators and 30 m of wire.
