Northern Alliance Prepares For General Offensive

Afghan Ambassador to Russia Abdul Wahab Asefi announced at a Moscow press conference on Tuesday that the Northern Alliance was preparing for a general offensive on all fronts. According to him, on the whole, the situation on the front was developing positively for the Northern Alliance. Abdul Wahab Asefi said that they had achieved successes in the provinces of Takhar, Balkh and Herat. Moreover, the ambassador stressed that the alliance was re-inforcing its positions in the province of Badghig.
