Hand Grenade Discovered Near Antiorganised Crime Board Building Taken Out Of Moscow

A hand grenade, discovered on Thursday near the building of the Central Regional Board for Combating Organised Crime /the CRUBOP/ in Moscow, was extracted and taken to safety, RIA Novosti was told by the Moscow law-enforcement organs. A telephone call on the discovery of a grenade-like object near the building came to the duty officer's panel at around 16:30, Moscow time. According to a CRUBOP officer, there was no evacuation from the building. Operative services and a sapper were called in.
