More Terror Gangs Sneak To Abkhazia. War To Flare Up Again?

Trained in Georgia's Pankisi gorge, which is infested by Chechen militants, terrorists are still penetrating the Georgian-controlled Kodori gorge, warns Harry Kupalba, Deputy Defence Minister of Abkhazia, self-proclaimed republic in Georgia. Chechen warlord Ghelayev's gang, who entered the Kodori gorge early this month, has been dispersed, with many killed by Abkhaz soldiers, he said to RIA Novosti in a telephone interview. Anti-terror action is on against banditry in other parts of Abkhazia. Three terrorists were killed within the last four days alone. Though calm has come back to Abkhazia, war may flare up again, added Mr. Kupalba.
