Speaker: Civil War To Follow Withdrawal Of Russian Peacemakers From Georgia

A civil war, to the detriment of Georgia, may follow the withdrawal of Russian peacemakers from Abkhazia, Yegor Stroyev, Speaker of the Council of Federation (upper parliamentary house) told journalists on Friday. The speaker believes the Russian peacemakers' withdrawal is possible only on condition that even theoretically Georgia will be able to preserve the non-conflict situation in the region which is out of the question now.
