A terrorist act has been prevented at the railway bridge over the river Dzhalka in Chechnya. The chief press spokesman for the North Caucasus Interior Ministry Department for transport, Colonel Sergei Nazarov, stated. According to him, on examination of the bridge members of the transport police discovered an explosive device containing 2 kilos of TNT. The bomb was destroyed. Nazarov said another explosive device was found under an armoured train of railway troops on the Gudermes-Dzhalka line. It was made up of 5 artillery shells and equipped with a detonator. The explosive device was defused. In both cases there were no injuries.
