Fifty-two Corpses Retrieved From Kursk Submarine

Fifty-two corpses have been retrieved from the Kursk nuclear submarine, Vladimir Navrotsky, the Chief of the Northern Fleet press service, was quoted as saying. Navrotsky also reported that in the early hours of Wednesday, two corpses of sailors were sent to their homeland by a transport aircraft of the Northern Fleet. Bodies of two more submariners will be sent to their relatives in the afternoon. The official also added that the Kursk nuclear submarine is currently being examined by Russian Vice-Premier Ilya Klebanov, Navy Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Kuroyedov, Presidential Aide Sergey Yastrzhembsky and Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov. Klebanov and Yastrzhembsky arrived in the Roslyakovo village, the Murmansk region, on Wednesday.
