Foreign Islamic Structures Keep Lending Assistance To Chechen Militants

According to a source in Russian secret services, foreign structures using Islamic slogans keep lending assistance to Chechen militant units to help them carry on their terrorist and subversive activities. Among the persons supporting Chechen militants are Haled Sufuri of George W.Bush's presidential team and sheikhs Al-Kazdini and Al-Amoudi, both outstanding representatives of the United States' Arab Islamic community, said the source, adding that around $5 million were collected in the largest cities of the USA during a recent three-month campaign in support of extremists. In Germany, similar activities are coordinated by a committee headed by Jordanian Rayed Abdel Halim Abdallah. Sweden's militant-supporting headquarters are based in Stockholm and run by one Omar Yassir Mahmud. A similar structure operates in Denmark and is headed by Osama Faiz al-Ahmed, continued the source, who claimed to know the names of leaders and activists of analogous "communities" based in Italy, Spain and Czechia. For instance, one Al-Arabi of the Czech Republic is known to have paid a $5 million weapons bill for Chechen militants, while another terrorist supporter, Muhammed Faiq, whose Cypriot acco! ! unt received money from Scandinavian, Spanish and Italian emissaries of the "terrorist international," helped smuggle these weapons into Chechnya.
