Three Chechen Gorilla Leaders Killed In Special Operation

As a result of the special operation of the Federal Troops currently being carried out in the Kurchaloevsk Region of Chechnya at least three active members of illegal military units have been killed, lieutenant-general Vladimir Moltenskoy, Commander-in-Chief of the United Troops Group in the North Caucasus, said today in an interview. Two of them have been identified as Khasan Abubukarov, nicknamed Uzbek, who was the third by rank in Khattab's retinue, and two other gorillas, one of who has been named Said, according to Moltenskoy. The gorillas, beside human losses, have also been deprived of a number of weapon and ammunition caches, the lieutenant-general also said. He pointed out that the operation in the Kurchaloevsk Region of Chechnya is not been carried out on a large scale so far, and consists mainly of reconnaissance and strategical actions. The operation in Kurchaloevsk Region was needed owing to reconnaissance information about the remaining gorilla groups that had not been annihilated during the similar operation in December last year, the Commander-in-Chief of the United Troops Group in the North Caucasus stressed.
