A murderous attempt was conducted against Interior Minister of North Ossetia Kazbek Dzantiyev in Vladikavkaz this morning. The regional Interior Ministry reported to RBC that terrorists planted a bomb near the car of the minister and the blast went off when he was going to work. No one has been reported killed or wounded in this blast. Officials linked this terrorist act to a generally aggravated situation in North Ossetia on the threshold of presidential elections to be held in the republic on January 27.
