In view of the worsening situation in the west of Macedonia, the leadership of the country has given orders to intensify police patrolling there. As a government spokesman said in Skopje, this decision was taken last night at the meeting of President Boris Trajkovski with the political and military leaders of the country. Police patrols, consisting of Macedonians and Albanians, will be on duty round-the-clock in those districts - the town of Tetovo and the adjoining villages.
