92 Militants Destroyed During A Special Operation In Argun, Chechnya

The federal forces in Chechnya have completed a special operation in Argun, a third largest town of the republic. As was reported on Wednesday by the Russian President's aide Sergei Yastrzhembsky, during this operation, which started in the middle of December, ninety-two militants were destroyed. The losses of the federal forces include five killed and twenty-four wounded. According to Sergei Yastrzhembsky, this special operation was thoroughly worked out in the headquarters of the Joint Group of Forces, and for this reason it was effective. Vakha Khatayev, one of the associates of Arab terrorist Hattab who is acting in Chechnya, and Magomed Guluyev, deputy of the Argun emir, have been already identified among the killed militants, said Vladimir Putin's aide. He underscored that the last stage of the operation had been conducted with the participation of the local inhabitants and representatives of the military prosecutor's office for the sake of avoiding the violations of human rights of the civilians.
