According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry (MChS) data, the terrorist act in Grozny killed 39 people and left 152 wounded and hospitalized.
Five people were saved during the rescue operation, said the MChS.
On Friday, at about 14:30 Moscow time, two trucks loaded with explosives drove through the fence of the Chechen Government House and exploded just near the building.
Three buildings were damaged - the House of Government, an administrative building adjoining it and a government hotel.
