A hidden cache with food supplies discovered in Chechnya

Another militants' base has been discovered in the Shatoi district of Chechnya. According to the sources in the HQ of the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, law-enforcement officers discovered a food supplies cache in the woods near the village of Syuzhi in the Shatoi district.

They seized a large amount of melted butter, macaroni, spaghetti, tea, vegetable oil, salt and chocolate. The cache also contained many boxes of detergent.

Police officers believe that the food supplies were stolen from the humanitarian aid recently distributed among the local population in Shatoi district. A criminal case has been opened in connection with the discovery. The area is being searched for possible perpetrators.
