Moscow calls on Palestinian authorities to track down masterminds of Jerusalem terrorist attack

Moscow has called on the Palestinian authorities to take effective measures to track down the masterminds of another terrorist attack carried out on Thursday in Jerusalem, Spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Yakovenko said.

According to him, "despite all the difficulties it is necessary that the Palestinian authorities clamped down on the terrorist infrastructure." The Russian official also expressed hope that the Israeli authorities would not undertake actions that could further escalate tensions and bring more sufferings to the Palestinian civilians. According to the Foreign Ministry Spokesman "further unwinding of the spiral of violence could delay prospects for resolving the Palestinian-Israeli crisis and halt peacemaking efforts of the international community." On Wednesday another inhumane action was carried out by extremists in Jerusalem. A suicide bomber blew up a bus full of people. Preliminary reports say the attack killed 10 people and injured dozens others.
