Russia takes full control of AFU's supply route

Russian forces take control of Ukraine's supply route

The Russian army took control of the supply route of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to Chasov Yar, WarGonzo Telegram channel said.

According to military correspondents, the Russian forces have thus taken complete control of the situation along the Ozaryanovka-Kurdyumovka-Zelenopole line.

"This triangle is strategically important as a height above Artemovsk (aka Bakhmut), Chasovy Yar and Konstantinovka. The main thing now is to control the supply route of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Chasov Yar,” the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

The Ukrainian army is pulling back its forces beyond Chasov Yar, where they regroup and retreat to bases in Kramatorsk.

In late September, intelligence services of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) said that the command post of the 10th assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was pulling back from the town of Chasov Yar. The Ukrainian command decided to relocate the unit "to a safer location" due to "constant losses, including among the officers," LPR intelligence said.
