Several explosions near the village of Novofedorovka in Crimea were reported on August 9. Sergey Aksenov, the head of Crimea, went to the scene of the incident. Circumstances of the incident are being investigated, he said.
It is worthy of note that no rockets were seen flying in the area before the explosions occurred. There is no video evidence to prove that the military airfield was attacked.
According to most recent reports, five people, including a child, were hurt as a result of explosions at the airfield in the village of Novofedorovka, the Minister of Health of the Crimea, Konstantin Skorupsky said. One person was killed.
Four people have shrapnel wounds, another victim is receiving surgical care (the person has a non-penetrating chest wound).
