The Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled Donetsk from NATO arms, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin said, TASS reports.
"This is caliber 155 — this is an American weapon — M777 howitzers,” he said.
Pushilin also said that the Ukrainian troops shelled a bus station in the city.
"There was no military expediency to shell a bus station,” the head of the republic said.
Earlier, the headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR reported that two people were killed and three were injured as a result of the shelling of a bus station in Donetsk in the Voroshilovsky district of the city.
According to the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire, five shells were fired at the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk.
On July 3, after the capture of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu informed President Putin about the complete liberation of the Luhansk People's Republic. The Donetsk People's Republic still remains partly under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
