Kherson residents prevent an assassination attempt on the head of city administration

Residents of Kherson prevented an attempt by Ukrainian saboteurs on the head of the city administration Volodymyr Saldo. A message about this appeared in the official Telegram channel of the Kherson Region.

According to the authorities, an explosive device was planted under the official's car, which was noticed by civilians and reported to the Russian military.

“The bomb was defused by sappers. The lives of people are no longer in danger, ”the message says.

No other details of the incident have been released yet. The arrest of the initiators of the attack was not reported.

On June 24, it became known about an explosion in Kherson, as a result of which a person died. As it turned out, the incident was an attempt on the life of the head of the family, youth and sports department Dmitry Savluchenko. Explosives were also planted under his car.
