DPR: Ukraine has lost at least 50,000 military men

Daniil Bezsonov, First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Information of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), gave his assessment to the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the special operation. According to Bezsonov, Ukraine has lost at least 50,000 military men.

"Ukraine has suffered enormous losses: most of the combat-ready units have already been destroyed or are in captivity. <…> According to my observations — from what gets into the Internet, even according to official statements — they have lost more than 50,000 men. This is if we take the entire front line into consideration," he said on Monday on Channel One.

"As for the wounded, then this is a one to three, one to four ratio. Roughly speaking, this is another 100-150 thousand people," he added.

According to Bezsonov, irretrievable losses account for both those killed and seriously injured (incapable to go back to army service).
