The Russian Armed Forces, together with the fighters of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), entered the town of Lisichansk. Until recently, the town remained under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, war correspondent Semyon Pegov wrote on Telegram.
Pegov's sources at the Donbas front line confirmed the information about the advance of the allied forces. The fighting on the outskirts of the city still continues.
Vitaly Kiselev, Assistant to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the LPR, stated that the allied units of the People's Militia of the LPR and the Russian Armed Forces may close the trap around Lisichansk from the western direction by the evening of June 24.
Russia does not deliberately attack supply lines in Ukraine that supply Western weapons. It has found a new, much more effective and less costly way to destroy it. So say the authors of the Chinese Sohu.
