Russian Bastion systems strike airfield in Odessa to destroy Bayraktar UAVs

Russian Bastion coastal missile system struck Artsyz airfield in the Odessa region of Ukraine, official representative for the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said.

According to him, an Onyx high-precision missile destroyed a Bayraktar TV2 drone control station, as well as two devices of this complex.

In addition, the Russian military hit 11 Grad MLRS platoons and 12 artillery platoons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions. Two M777 howitzers were destroyed in the area of ​​​​the settlement of Podgornoye.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed total of 2,055 field artillery pieces and mortars, 3,731 special vehicles, 576 MLRS combat vehicles, 3,696 armored vehicles, 345 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM), 1,260 drones, 132 helicopter and 208 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
