Group of terrorists again intruded into Russia from the territory of Georgia

To all appearances, a group of terrorists again intruded into Russia from the territory of Georgia. According to the press service of the North Caucasian regional department of the Russian Federal Frontier Service, this was reported by the search and reconnaissance group to the headquarters of the Argun frontier detachment. Transgressors were discovered on Thursday midday in the area of the Kerigo gorge at the Chechen sector of the Russian-Georgian border.

Observation of trespassers was made difficult by poor visibility in the mountains, but frontier guards determined that the group consisted of up to 12 people. Artillery fire was opened in the direction of the location of trespassers, additional troops were dispatched into the region. Presently the operation to comb the territory is going on.
