Terrorists who have penetrated Russia from Georgia are trying to hide from federal forces

The terrorists and foreign mercenaries who have penetrated the North Caucasus from Georgia are losing even portable ground-to-air systems in an attempt to hide from federal forces. RIA Novosti was told about it in the press service of the North Caucasian regional department of the Russian Frontier Service.

The first system of this kind was found by servicemen in the area of the Nazran frontier outpost in Ingushetia on Saturday on the left bank of the River Armkhi. This find was brought to the outpost.

That same day, the reconnaissance group from the Yukerigo provisional post of the Argun frontier group found a cache storing one portable ground-to-air system and more than two thousand different pieces of ammunition.

According to the press service, last weekend the situation on the Russian-Georgian border was tense on the whole.

The Russian servicemen were making reconnaissance, including air reconnaissance, and additional units were brought to the border.
