On Saturday an emergency session of the Chechen Security Council will be held in Grozny. On the agenda will be the socio-political situation in Chechnya and the state of affairs in the law enforcement agencies.
Rudnik Dudayev, secretary of the Security Council of the Chechen autonomy, has said that this emergency session is triggered by an explosion sounded in the building of the interior section of the Zavodskoi district of the Chechen capital. As a result of this blast 22 policemen have been killed and 9 died.
The heads of all power structures and representatives of the united federal forces have been invited to the emergency session. It is expected to be chaired by Akhmad Kadyrov, chief of the Chechen administration.
