Russia denies rumors of 'invasion' of Ukraine

In Russia, officials deny the rumors about the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine.

Russian military men and hardware do not take any participation in the events in Ukraine, Russian Permanent Representative to the OSCE Andrei Kelin told Itar-Tass after the meeting of the Permanent Council of organization: "We have clearly stated before that there is no participation of Russian troops, we do not deliver any hardware to Ukraine either," he said.

"We've heard many statements from the Ukrainian leadership that quickly turned out to be a lie. Now we are witnessing another hoax, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, Yevgeny Serebrennikov told RIA Novosti.

"Lies has become an integral feature of the so-called Kiev authorities, so Mr. Poroshenko will not surprise anyone either in Russia or in the West. I can only say that there are no grounds for such words, as the junta still continues blame-shifting," head of the Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Leonid Slutsky said.
