The militia of the People's Republic of Luhansk destroyed two helicopters of the Ukrainian army in fierce fighting near the village of Georgievka, representatives of the headquarters of the unrecognized republic told RIA Novosti.
According to the militia, the Ukrainian troops also lost two tanks, five armored infantry fighting vehicles, as well as a GAZ-66 vehicle with personnel and two KRAZ trucks with ammunition. The losses Ukrainian security forces in the fighting made up 60 men, the militia said.
