Vitali Klitschko to refuse from negotiations with Ukrainian government

Vitali Klitschko, UDAR opposition party chairman, may terminate negotiations with the government on resolving the crisis in Ukraine, Andrey Klyuev, Ukraine's Security Council Secretary said.

Klitschko, according to Klyuev, refused from the constructive dialogue within the scope of the second meeting of the group to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, in which presidential adviser Andrei Portnov and Minister of Justice Elena Lukash took part as well.

The Security Council Secretary also asked opposition leaders to persuade people to go home. Klitschko was also asking for a personal meeting with Yanukovych, but the Ukrainian president did not agree to meet the boxer, because he was conducting talks with Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on socio-economic development of the country at the time.

Today, Ukraine enacts the laws, which, according to media reports, introduce censorship in the country. The adoption of those laws triggered conflicts between the opposition and representatives of law enforcement agencies on Sunday. The information saying that the parliament of Ukraine was going to introduce a state of emergency in the country was later refuted.
