Eleven escape to safety from burning An-2 aircraft in Russia

In the Yakutsk airport of the town of Viljujsk, an Antonov An-2 aircraft performed an emergency landing. Eleven people, including four children, safely left the burning aircraft, which was subsequently destroyed by the fire completely.

The An-2 was en route from Viljujsk to Kyubyaynde and made an emergency landing 26 kilometers to the north-west of the airport of departure. The pilot made the decision after the control panel showed a sharp drop in pressure in one of the systems of the plane.

There were two crew members and nine passengers on board. Luckily, no one was hurt as a result of the accident.
