'Enemies of Islam' claim responsibility for Iraq bombings

Terrorist group "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in Iraq that took place over the weekend. Members of the group are immigrants from the Iraqi "al-Qaeda" as well as Syrian rebels. As stated by terrorists, the explosions were organized in response to the actions of security services.

The day when the bombs went off, was not a random choice. Muslims were celebrating the feast of Eid al-Fitr, and there were crowds of people in the streets. Car bombs were installed in busy areas - near cafes, shops and markets. According to various reports, the number of those hurt ranged  between 200 and 400 people, about 80 were killed. The explosions took place in Baghdad and other areas. The terrorist acts were committed mainly in Shiite neighborhoods.

Ramadan is the Muslim holy month, during which even foul language is prohibited. Thus, the terrorists are simply criminals with no religion at all. U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki has called them "enemies of Islam."
