Syria to open front of resistance against Israel

Syria is to open the front of resistance against Israel. It goes about the possibility of a military action on the Golan Heights, that came under Israeli annexation after the Six-Day War. President Bashar al-Assad shared his dreams in an interview with Lebanese television channel "Al-Manar".

He stressed that such actions would be of preventive character in the first place.

Assad is concerned about the ongoing Israeli aggression. The leaders of other Arab states express similar concerns. It is quite natural that ordinary Arabs say that they are willing to fight against Israel.

It is quite possible that the situation in the region will calm down a bit after the international conference in Geneva, which will discuss the conflict in Syria.
