Bangladesh rescuers save 40 from under collapsed building

Rescuers in Bangladesh were able to recover 40 people from under the rubble of the collapsed building. The rescue operation continues. According to news reports, there still could be survivors under the rubble of the shopping mall. The military, firefighters and border guards are working at the scene.

According to most recent reports, the death toll in the collapse of the building, 30 kilometers from the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, has risen to 175 people.

The eight-storeyed factory building in Savar collapsed on Wednesday morning. At the time of the tragedy, there were more than 3,000 people inside the building.
