North Korea continues to hold war preparations

North Korea began to build fortifications on the border with its southern neighbor. Chinese media have reported that the move may indicate preparations for the war. Cement barricades and anti-tank constructions of logs and boulders have already appeared on the peninsula.

As Pravda.Ru reported a few days ago, North Korea moved two mobile launchers with Scud missiles to the east coast of the country.

The situation on the Korean peninsula escalated dramatically after the DPRK conducted its third nuclear test in February. The UN Security Council tightened sanctions against North Korea.  In response, the Republic threatened to strike a nuclear blow on the United States and South Korea and broke the pact of non-aggression with Seoul. South Korea and the United States , in turn, announced joint large-scale U.S. military exercises with the participation of U.S. strategic bombers.
