Two police helicopters collide and crash in Berlin, one killed

Two police helicopters collided over Berlin during police drills. At least one person was killed and several others were injured, according to Spiegel.

The helicopters crashed near the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. According to news reports, the two helicopters were flying low. One of them may have landed during the time of the accident. It was snowing when the accident occurred. According to police, the accident occurred because of poor visibility.

Circumstances of the accident are being investigated. According to media reports, four people were seriously injured. Firefighters at the scene said one person was killed.

About 580 police officers took part in large-scale police drills in the largest city in Germany. At the time of the accident, there was another police helicopter nearby, which landed safely.
