Grandpa Hassan was killed from silent machine gun

Police have found hand prints of the man who killed 55-year-old "thief in law" Grandpa Hassan in Moscow yesterday. It has been established so far that the murder was committed with a weapon of special services. A series of examinations will take place to investigate this version.

Meanwhile, a woman injured during the attack on Grandpa Hassan underwent surgery at Sklifosovsky's Institute. According to preliminary data, she was working at the restaurant, next to which the murder occurred. The woman received a gunshot wound to the chest and hips.

It was also said that Grandpa Hassan was killed from "Val" silent machine gun. The killer was waiting for the victim, sitting on a stool in the attic of the building, where poet Mikhalkov lived.

The sniper was staying in the apartment building on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, near a small window from which he could see the patio of "Old Phaeton" restaurant.

From his position, the sniper made at least five shots. Aslan Usoyan, aka Grandpa Hassan, died already at the Botkin Hospital, where in 2010 doctors saved him after attempted assassination. This time the doctors were powerless.

Seventy-five-year-old Aslan Usoyan was one of the most famous criminal leaders in the former Soviet Union. He began his career at age 19, served four terms and was crowned as a "kingpin". Some experts believe that the killing of such a significant figure could be a beginning of a new criminal war.
