Football player drives his Porsche into gas station store in Belgium

A legionnaire of Grozny-based football club Terek (Chechnya), Jonathan Legear, got into a "drunk" car accident in Belgium. While driving his luxury Porsche Panamera, the footballer rammed the vehicle into a gas station convenience store.

The incident occurred at about five o'clock on Sunday morning in the town of Tongeren. According Sports.ru, the 25-year-old Belgian, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, pushed the gas pedal too hard, and his car drove into the shop for more than ten meters.

A young man was injured by broken glass, adds Football-RFPL.ru. He received medical treatment; his health is out of danger. The footballer has been sent to a sobering station; his license has been withdrawn for two months. The question of penalty, which Legear will have to incur, is being discussed.

Last year, a player of Zenit football club, Alexei Ionov, was detained in St. Petersburg for drunk driving. On November 2, the traffic police stopped his Infinity vehicle, which a drunken young woman was driving. When the officers invited the woman to the police car to make the protocol, the footballer, who was also drunk, got into the Infinity and tried to escape. After a short chase, the car was stopped.
