James Minney: I welcome article Thus Spoke George II, but

I welcome this piece by Vasily Bubnov Thus Spoke George II but I think it misses out a central part which is central to the point he is making.

The biggest problem for UNO and for all initiatives to reduce armaments is that, since 1997, no-one can be confident in the future that arms inspections will be honest and impartial and not indulge in out-of-remit intelligence for the benefit of one member country. The challenge to UNO to remedy this by having an impartial team this time is a bigger challenge even than the need to do something about Hussein, in terms of how important it is for the future peace of the world.

In my humble opinion
