Nizhny Novgorod finishes last preparations to International Business Summit 2013

The Nizhny Novgorod region is ready to welcome representatives of 28 countries of the world. On September 11 and 12, Nizhny Novgorod will hold the International Business Summit 2013.

Business delegations from the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus and Ukraine will come to participate in one of the most important events of the year.

Twenty-three agreements are ready for signing, including the agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the investment project for the construction of high-tech center in Ankudinovka IT Park, the agreement on the implementation of the investment project for the development of bioenergy technologies in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the agreement on the implementation of the investment project to build an industrial park in Dzerzhinsk, a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the investment project to build a factory specializing in the production of small architectural forms.

"With this event, we connect long-term expectations, as the International Business Summit takes on a very broad scale. It is important for us not only to hold discussions, but get investors acquainted with their colleagues, giving them an opportunity for an open dialogue," Valery Shantsev, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region said.

The main topic of discussions in 2013 will be "Investments in the Future: Russia." The forum will be attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, business leaders, heads of small and medium-sized businesses, investors, and analysts.

As part of the International Business Summit, the International Industrial and Economic Forum "The Future of Russia" will be conducted, along with educational and industrial forum "Innovative Education - The Driving Force of Russia's Technological Breakthrough,"  Media Forum 2013, construction forum " DOMOSTROY EXPO 2013," the Congress of directors of business incubators of Russia.

In total, more than 70 events will be held within the scope of the forum: round tables, national and international conferences. To date, nearly 2,500 participants have been registered.

According to the results of the International Business Summit 2012, 17 investment agreements were signed, including the creation of the region's bio-medical, aviation and petrochemical clusters worth over 13 billion rubles of private investment, including from the Netherlands, Italy and Germany.
