Honeywell reports profits increase in 4Q, its business growing in all segments

Honeywell International Inc.’ fourth-quarter profit rose 17.8 percent –with all its business segments growing.

The company earned $689 million (EUR468.55 million), or 91 cents per share, for the three months that ended Dec. 31, up from $585 million (EUR397.82 million), or 72 cents per share, a year earlier, the AP reports.

Its 4-quarter sales jumped 12.1 percent to $9.28 billion (EUR6.31 billion) from $8.28 billion (EUR5.63 billion) in the same period a year ago.
