At least sixty people were killed on Thursday when a passenger bus collided with a petrol tanker, which exploded, in Western Uganda.
A police spokesperson explained to journalists on the scene that the brakes of the petrol tanker failed before it smashed into the passenger bus and exploded, killing all on board.
Officials at the bus terminal in Campala confirmed that the bus was carrying around 60 seated passengers but that there could have been more standing.
