Russia And Kazakhstan Intend To Sign Agreement On Delimitation Of State Border In 2002

Russia and Kazakhstan are going to sign an agreement on delimitation of state border in 2002, president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, who arrived in Moscow, said on Thursday. This issue, according to him, will be discussed during a bilateral meeting of presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan. Nazarbayev recalled that the length of the state border between Russia and Kazakhstan is 7,500 km. At the present time the sides coordinated their positions with respect to 4,000 km- long border section.
